It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ridenour of Smithsburg, Maryland, born in Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo David Ridenour and Dorothy Elizabeth Ridenour (Schroyer); and his siblings, Harry Ridenour, Mary Jenkins, Jerry Ward, Charles Ridenour and Pat Hollingshead.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Ridenour (Shilling); his children, Joe Mong, Jr. (Michelle) and Julie Beard (Tim); his grandchildren, Erika Mong, Aaron Mong, Kiersten Beard and Shane Pryor; his great grandchild Hallie May; and his brothers, David Ridenour (Faye), Paul Ridenour (Bonnie) and James Ridenour (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
