We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2023, at the age of 85, Rachel Marie Dayhoff of Smithsburg, Maryland, born in Hagerstown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Rinehart and Rachel Rinehart (Blickenstaff); her husband Richard Dayhoff (Dick); her son Michael Dayhoff; her granddaughter Tiffany Dayhoff; and her siblings, Harry Rinehart Jr., Charles Rinehart Sr., John Rinehart, Samuel Ausherman, John Ausherman, Dorothy Hammer, Margaret Smith and Linnie Shoemaker.
She is survived by : her sisters, Sally Lynn, Rose Pepple and Mary Ridenour; her daughter Susan Fisher (Bill); her daughter-in-law Carrie Dayhoff of Smithburg, MD.; her grandchildren, Shanna Byrd (Pete), Brandon Fisher (Abby), Megan Dayhoff (Derek), Paige Dayhoff, Adam Simons (Erinn), Dylan Grove and Isaac Grove (Trinity Baker); and her great grandchildren, Max, Lucie, Piper, Lily, Nash, Eliana, Harper, Whitney, Dax and Archie. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
