He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Schildt and Violet M. Schildt (Fleagle); and his brother Earl Schildt. He is survived by: his wife Penny S. Schildt (Nave); his children, Paul W. Schildt of Falling Waters, WV, Christopher C. Schildt of Falling Waters, WV, Joseph D. Schildt of Inwood, WV and Tanya M. McDonald of Massanutten, VA; his grandchildren, Brendon McDonald, Alicia Schildt, Darren McDonald, Kayley Schildt, Kaytlyn McDonald, Brittany Schildt, Breanna Schildt, Makensi Schildt, Melody Schildt and Paul Schildt Jr.; and his siblings, Joyce E. Shockey of Smithburg, Wilma M Holloway of Hagerstown, Arlene Montgomery of Hagerstown and Donald E. Schildt of Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
