He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Michael Hovis, Sr. and Annie Elizabeth Hovis (Jenkins). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jones Hovis; his children, Joni Kline (Jay), Kelly Spigler (John) and Patrick Hovis (Nina); his siblings, Cynthia Cross (Kenneth) and William Hovis (Lisbeth); and his grandchildren, Jordan Parrish (Cody), Amanda Mills (Zane), Nick Spigler, Kimberly Hovis, Kris Hovis (Becky Geisbert) and Kraig Hovis. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
