He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Eberhart and Ann Eberhart (Quinlan); his stepmother Marian Williams Eberhart; and his stepsiblings, Donald Williams and Nancy Grissinger.

He is survived by : his son Brian Eberhart (Christine); his grandsons, Nicholas and Ethan Eberhart; and his sister Virginia Summers Walker (Ernie Walker).
