She was predeceased by: her parent Ora Richardson Willard; her husband Fred Hays; and her siblings, Ruth Harne, Catherine Lucas, Evelyn Barlup, Mary Harrison, Charles Willard, John Willard, Zack Draper, Winstead Sharpe, Richard O'Mara, Bruce Rhoderick, Deloris Hays and Nancy Hays.

She is survived by: her parent Bertha Rae Willard (Toms); her children, Jane Draper, Pauline McAfee (James), Dorothy McAfee (Robert), Helen Sharpe, Virginia O'Mara, Ruth Rhoderick, Alma Hays (John), Robert Hays, George "Leon" Hays and Ora Hays (Susan); and her siblings, Bernice Harne, Audrey Wright and Robert Willard. She is also survived by six grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, thirty great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
