We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Mary Hedges of Smithsburg, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Calvin Coss and Virginia Huff Coss (Nellie); her son Stephen Charles Newcomer; and her brothers, Charles William Coss and Richard Leon Coss.

She is survived by: her former husband Charles L. Newcomer; her husband Alan Hedges; her children, Carolyn Newcomer Ketchel (Terrance Ketchel) of Shalimar, Donna Jean Newcomer (Arnold E. Hammann) of Cambridge and Thomas Coss Newcomer (Esther Newcomer) of Hagerstown, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Caleb Coble (Erin), Leif Coble (Melissa), Micah Ketchel, Andrew Ketchel (McKenzie), Jason Dempsey and Ashley Newcomer Mills (Donald). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Franklin County Hospice.
