We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2021, at the age of 95, Mary Josephine Grove (Smithsburg, Maryland), born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam McKinley Monn and Mildred Monn (Kipe); her husband Daniel Lewis Grove, Sr.; her siblings, Rosaline Wishard, Ernest Monn and Donald Monn; and her granddaughters, Melissa Dawn Gudgeon and Shelby Lynn Gudgeon.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel L. Grove, Jr. (Twylla) and Nancy L. Grove Gudgeon (Lee); her grandchildren, Renee Marie Grove (Robbie Veil) and Jeffrey Alan Grove (Kathleen); her stepgrandsons, Dustin Coldsmith and Brandon Coldsmith (Johnette); her siblings, Ronald Monn and Elaine Monn; and her great grandchildren, Addison Marie Frey and Cody Ashton Frey. She is also survived by ten step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Mary Grove to the Leitersburg Volunteer Fire Company, 21431 Leiter St. Hagerstown, MD 21742.
