She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Hensley and Nora Gross; her sons, Timothy Alan Distin and David A. Distin; and her great grandchild Declan Conner McCreary.

She is survived by : her children, Gregory Dale Brown, Thomas Wayne Distin (Pam), Dennis Ray Distin and Mary Jill McCreary (James). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
