With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jon Snyder (Smithsburg, Maryland), born in Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on August 27, 2019 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Beckley Snyder and Natalie Jane Snyder (Lynch); his wife Elaine Snyder; his children, Christie Phillips (Jason) and Jon David Snyder (Teri Jo "T. J."); his grandchildren, Natalie Paige Phillips, Jordyn Ashlee Phillips, Makayla Brooke Phillips, Abigail Elizabeth Snyder, Madison Nicole Snyder and Owen Christopher Snyder; his brothers, Larry Snyder (Debbie), Alan Snyder (Cindy), Terry Snyder (Debbie) and Steven Snyder (Donna); his pet Sheldon; and his daughter Mary Elizabeth Snyder. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Jon Douglas Snyder to, Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Road, Waynesboro, PA, 17268 or to a medical charity of one's choice.
