John Martin Palmer Sr. Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Martin Palmer Sr. of Smithsburg, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Palmer and Florene Palmer; and his sisters, Joyce Palmer and Mary Ellen Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Palmer (Hosfeld); his children, Bonnie Mittag of Smithsburg and John Palmer Jr. (Tisha) of Smithsburg, MD; his granddaughters, Katherine Henson (Sean) of Smithsburg, MD, Diana Warren (Corey) of Waynesboro, PA and Samantha Palmer of Smithsburg, MD; and his great grandchildren, Isabelle Henson, Baylee Warren and Rebecca Garrett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. L. Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
