He is survived by: his wife Elaine Marie Smith (Worden); his brothers, James Merlin Smith, Jr. (Rhonda) and Robert Eugene Smith (Suzanne); and his siblings-in-law, Renee Mackin (William) and Brian Worden (Melinda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
