She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Teare and Lillian Harrison Teare; and her husband David O. Winfrey. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Winfrey Gillette (Bruce) of Owego, NY and David L. Winfrey of Smithsburg; and her grandchildren, John (Jenell), Catherine and Sarah (Malachi). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
