We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2023, at the age of 75, Hector Hugo Guerrero of Smithsburg, Maryland, born in McAllen, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Juan Francisco Guerrero and Irene Vera Guerrero; his children, Teresa Hamm (David) and Roberto Guerrero; his grandchildren, McKayla, Lili, Harper, Owen and Charlie; and his siblings, Carlos Guerrero (Yolanda) and Martha Mendez (Albert).

“My name is Jarrette Ireland. I knew Hector from grade school through high school. We played little-league baseball together in Lake Jackson, Texas. I only have fond memories of Hector. He was a great friend and a person of high character. Hector was one of the smartest individuals I have ever known. Hector's accomplishments and the students he influenced are a lasting legacy. I pray for his family and send my sincere condolences .”
