It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Elizabeth Frey of Smithsburg, Maryland, born in Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy C. Wiles and Grace E. Wiles (Johnson); her husband Robert "Gene" E. Frey; her brother Pete Hull; her granddaughter Jennifer Judd; and her sons-in-law, Kevin Judd and Bobbby Clopper.
She is survived by : her daughters, Joy E. Reece (Michael), Pat A. Frey, Barbara J. Shupe (Ronnie), Diana J. Judd, Pam M. Doyle (David) and Jan I. Clopper; and her sisters, Juanita Dayhoff and Jody Benchoff. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
