He is survived by: his wife Cathy Staub-Wetzel; his children, Kristen Wiles, Shannon Thomas (Anthony), Shanda Burmeister (Derek), Tiffany Staub (Sean) and James Staub; his grandchildren, Randi, Mason, Amiah, Davine, Annabeth, Kayleigh, Aliyah, Alexah, Brayden, Autumn and Greyson; his sisters, Darlene Boyer, Diane Pearson and Debbie Scott; and his children, Shawn Wetzel and Bobbi Jo Hilery. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Kline Hospice House or St. Jude's Medical Center in David's Memory.
