He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Brown and Susan Brown (Willard); and his siblings, Clara Ruth Hardman, Miriam Brown, Walter, Frank and Dan.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Stottlemyer; his daughter Tina Cox (Bob) of Venice, FL; his granddaughter Andrea Bennett (Joe); his great grandchild Natalie of Ellicott City, MD; his granddaughter Ashton Cox of Sarasota, FL; his son Tim Brown (Lois) of Thurmont, MD; his stepgranddaughter Crystal Uppercue (Kenny); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Keirstyn of Jefferson, MD., Charlie of Jefferson, MD., Elizabeth of Jefferson, MD., Caleb of Jefferson, MD. and Madison of Jefferson, MD.; and his siblings, Dorothy Smith, Betty Wetzel, Imogene Smith (Bennie) and Ed.
A service to celebrate Sam's life will be held at a later date so all who wish to, can attend, in light of the current Covid-19 situation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Cyrus Brown to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Shriner's Hospital for Children.
