It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Ann Dietrich of Smithsburg, Maryland, born in Dover, Delaware, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Dorothy Whalen Runnemede (Green) and James Whalen; her husband Joseph Dietrich; her children, Kristian Dietrich (Mindy), Michael Dietrich (Katie) and Allison Dietrich; her siblings, James Whalen (Gail) and Susan Kummer (Gerry); and her grandchildren, Payton Dietrich, Kaden Dietrich and Oliver Dietrich.
