It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Birney Kretsinger of Smithsburg, Maryland, who passed away on May 31, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Steiner Green and Carrie Mae Green (Baker); her husband Robert William Kretsinger; and her siblings, Kenneth, James, Robert Green, Evelyn Stevenson and Frances Shaub.

She is survived by : her children, Cindy Snyder (Alan) of Kansas City, MO and Randy Kretsinger (Judith) of Smithsburg, MD. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and Joey her 19-year-old cat.
