He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gerri Marie Abdi; his children, Inci Abdi Hepner (Michael), Julie Abdi Turner (Perry) and Linda Abdi Wilson (Mark); his grandchildren, Kimberly Nicole Leitch (Brooks), Stephanie Michelle Hepner, Christopher William Hepner, Halle Marie Wilson and Jack Tyler Wilson; his great grandchild Aiden Chase Leitch; his siblings, Ayten Daly, June Chance and Ilhan Abdi; and his parents, Osman Abdi and Faxima Abdi (Dervsaki).
