It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Nearhood (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on March 7, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Melinda "Mindy" (Meyers); his daughter Jennifer Nearhood; his son-in-law Long Nguyen; and his granddaughter Madison Nguyen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mitch's honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Saint Stephen Lutheran Church.
