He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen V. Garey and Johnson J. Garey. He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Garey; his sons, William Garey Jr. and Jerome Garey (Natasha); and his siblings, Jackie (Norma), Ronald, Donald and Janet (Marcus). He is also survived by six sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
