He was predeceased by: his wife Hilda Cohen; his sister Lore Cohn; and his parents, Hedwig Cohen and Albert Cohen. He is survived by: his daughters, Hedy Shiman (Howard), Debbie Katz (Marc) and Malka Cohen (Noson Tsvi). He is also survived by many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
