It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Paul Haass of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Haass and Louise Haass of Closter, NJ; and his siblings, Jean DeBaun (Clint) and Kenneth Haass. He is survived by: his sister Marie O'Reilly (Michael); his wife Beverly Arlene Hoffman Haass; his children, Lyn Mullinax, Tami Burt (David) and Scott Haass (Sandy); and his grandchildren, Andrew Burt (Kathryn), Timothy Burt (Evelyn), Kevin Connors, Katie Connors (Ryan), Allison Burt (Jackson), Victoria Haass, Ian Mullinax and Thomas Haass. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or their favorite charity.
