He is survived by: his wife Edith; his children, Alexander Ching (Mary Anna Denman), Andrew Ching and Christina Ching (Joe Meinking); his grandchildren, John William Denman Ching and Caitlin Marie Ching; his brothers, Norman, Franklin and Clinton Ching; and his sister-in-law Barbara Sprenger.

In his memory donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, the Equal Justice Initiative or a charity of your choice.
