With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Rutledge (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Philip J. Rutledge; and her sister Lillian Wellburn. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Caldwell (Barry), Janet Rutledge (Norman Fortenberry), Edward Rutledge (Carol) and Trish Ford; her sister Eleanor Strutton; her grandchildren, Hillary, Lauren, Brendan Caldwell, Carter Fortenberry, Jessica Joseph (Yvens) and Lorenzo Ford; and her great grandchildren, Yara and Yani Joseph. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
