It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vasiliki Axarlis (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Garyfalia "Phyllis" Axarlis and Kostantinos Axarlis; her children, Garyfalia "Lia" Mereos and Chris Mereos; her husband Chris Mereos; her siblings, Peter Axarlis and Gina Axarlis; and her goddaughter Alexis Axarlis. She was also cherished by her aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and godchildren.
