It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vasco DeVaca Jones (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasco D. Jones and Margaret Weaver Jones; and his sister Peggy J. Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Underwood Jones; his son Gregory L. Jones (Lauren); his grandson Everett S. Jones; his son Tyler D. Jones (Lisa); and his siblings, David H. Jones and Susan J. Piner (Robert).
