He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Buonassisi and Rosanella Buonassisi; and his brother Stefano Buonassisi. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Maria Buonassisi; his son John; his daughter-in-law Carla Buonassisi; his daughters, Rosemary (Luis Gomez) and Anita (Matthew Piermarini); and his grandchildren, Julianna, Nicholas, Anthony, Luke, Dominic and Vincent. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and nieces.
