He is survived by: his wife Doretha Elizabeth Hyson; his children, Beverly Miller, Thomas Garey, Jr. (Diane) and Patricia Smith (Lawrence); his godsons, Leroy Hyson and Eric Johnson; and his siblings, Janet Dorsey (Marcus), Jack (Norma), Ronald, Donald and William Garey (Joan). He is also survived by sister in laws, 2 brother in laws, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
