It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Straton Charles Laios of Silver Spring, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Laios and Genevieve Fletcher; his wife Dolores Conrad; his daughter Stephanie Laios; and his brothers, Robert Laios and James Laios.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Laios and Lisa Laios; his grandchildren, Nicolas and Alexandra Laios; and his brother Edward Laios. He is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of the Resurrection (3315 Greencastle Rd, Burtonsville, MD 20866). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
