Though Stavroula may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stavroula touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Nicolas Zuras; her children, Matina Zuras, Kereakos Zuras (Tonya) and Constantine Zuras (Eva); and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Demetra and Chloe Zuras.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (721 Norwood Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20905). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
