With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Spero L. Courtis (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis S. Courtis and Jennie Apostolakos. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his sons, Louis Christopher and Daniel Courtis (Linsey); his grandchildren, Riggin Louis, Winifred, MaryMarla, Clementine and Paulina; his sister Elizabeth Geanopulos (Tommy); his uncle John Courtis (Kiki); his nephew Troy Geanopulos (Annika); and his niece Jennifer Takos (Dimitri).
In lieu of flowers the family kindly suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Washington, DC.
