It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophia D. Xenophontos of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on June 26, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Ploutarchos Xenophontos; her son Alexander Ploutarchos Xenophontos; and her siblings, Eleni Mouriki and Rina Koutzounis. She is survived by: her children, Xenophon Ploutarchos Xenophontos and Christos Ploutarchos Xenophontos; her daughter-in-law Maria Xenophontos; her grandson Luke Ploutarchos Xenophontos; and her siblings, Vassiliki Karaymbis and Evangelos Douvogiannis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
