With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sofia Chatos (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jimmy Chatos; her father-in-law Robert Warfield; and her stepson Justin Warfield. She is survived by: her spouse Kyle Warfield; her mother Yiota Chatos; her parent-in-law Daneen; her brother Tommy Gerasimos Chatos; her stepchildren, Pace and Jenna; her godchildren, Chris Galiatsatos and Isabel Galiatsatos; and her pet Abbey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (701 Norwood Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20905). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens (2150 Mt View Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Luke Lutheran Church (9100 Colesville Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20910).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
