“I became friends with Shirley in Palm Beach around 2000, she introduced me to some on her social circle and I made many friends through her. Shirley opened many doors and was a factor in some choices we made like joining the Palm Beach Symphony or Palm Beach Opera. Shirley was a Lady in every sense, she always dressed impeccably and knew the right thing to say and the right thing to do in any occasion. We always enjoyed her company and missed her when she moved North. We will miss her.”
