We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2024, at the age of 46, Sara Hawkins (Silver Spring, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Sara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. “Dear Chuck, Molly, and Jack My deepest sympathy for the loss of your wife/mother Sara. I was devastated to hear that she passed last week. Sara was my colleague at the SEC for many years and I thought the world of her. Apart from being a brilliant lawyer, she was kind and funny and always a bright light in our office. We talked about family and parenting often and her love for all of you was immense. I will miss her tremendously. With prayers for you all, and my condolences. Heidi Pilpel”
