It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Carrier (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Allendale, South Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Victor and Irma Warren Spigener; her siblings, John Victor, Jr. and Irma Warren Stevenson (Ernie); and her husband Leon Arthur Carrier.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Sammons (Ron) of South Carolina, Saranne Edwards (Charles) of Maryland, Leon Carrier, Jr. (Carol) of Maryland and Irma "Cari" Langley of Virginia; her grandchildren, John, Ben (Julie McMillan), Andrew (Courtney Edwards), Leon III (Jenna), Jessica (Lindsey Carrier) and Jamie Langley of Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Brooke McMillan, Logan, Eli Edwards, Leon IV, Landon, Johnny, Sara, Kelsey Carrier and Boden Henry. She is also survived by her four children, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
