With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Anne Sullivan (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 16, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hay Brooke Taliaferro and Ruth Hammond Taliaferro; and her grandson Jesse Taliaferro Alexander. She is survived by: her sisters, Florence Brinkley of Effort, PA and Carolyn Blauvelt of Silver Spring, MD; her children, Linda Sullivan of Falls Church, VA, Michael Sullivan (Nancy) of Olney, MD, Kathryn Sullivan Kolar (Joseph) of Bethesda, MD, Patricia Alexander of Silver Spring, MD, Jerry Sullivan of Dallas, TX and John Sullivan (Shelley) of Chester, MD.; her grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Carrie, James, Casey, Aldea, Jack, Brooke, Tim, Rob and Bridget; and her great grandchildren, Kade, Jayla and Jaxon.
Reception immediately following at Club House I. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Holy Cross Hospital c/o Friends of Holy Cross.
