He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Barefoot and Leah Barefoot (Berkey); and his brother Brant. He is survived by: his siblings, Carl of Somerset, Beverly Lehman of New Paris, Jay of Silver Spring, Roy (Betty) of New Paris, Russell (Wilma) of Mt. Airy and Byron (Carolyn) of Nokesville, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
