He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife June Kessler; his children, Debra Hallett, Frank Kessler (Nancy), Glenn Kessler (Jodi) and Reada Kessler (John Przygocki); his grandchildren, Benn, Davna, Britt (Lisa), Jonathan (Elyssa), Marni and Lee; his great grandchildren, Madison, Brody, Ari and Aiden; and his sibling Beverly Lipson Dlott.
