He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lima Rose Jayaraman; his children, Merlynn Carson (Benjamin Solomon Carson, Jr.) and Famila Shirani Jayaraman; his grandchildren, Tesora Rose, Benjamin Solomon III and Alric Tristan Carson; and his siblings, Grace Rasanayagam, Mohan Jayaraman and Sampath Jayaraman.
