He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Ann Hawes; his children, Patricia A. Miller (Charles), Barbara L. Hawes, Suzanne M. Nalls (John), Mary E. Hawes and Paul T. Hawes, III; and his father Paul Hawes. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
