He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Jacobsen; and his parents, Winfred Jacobsen and Edna Jacobsen. He is survived by: his children, Juliet Jacobsen Kastorff of Bryson City, NC and Nelson Jacobsen (Jessica) of Washington, DC; and his granddaughters, Isabella Jacobsen and Skye Jacobsen.
