With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia S. McArdle (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husbands, James Joseph Kirwin III and Thomas J. McArdle; and her siblings, Paul Smith and Mary Alice Halley. She is survived by: her spouse Mary Patricia; and her stepchildren, Chris, Mary, Matt and Mark.

In 2014, she was presented with the 'Order of Merit' in recognition for her outstanding contributions to the Diocese of Wilmington.
