Though Onis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Onis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Rivero of León and Rosa Navarina Verdecía; and his grandson Daniel Raymond Ferro. He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his daughters, Miriam Mascareñaz (Bill), Vivian Moreno (Francisco) and Judy Ferro (Bernardo); his nieces, Nelcy Valcourt, Vilma Cardona and Janet Glotnis; and also Greg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (500 University Blvd W, Silver Spring, MD 20901). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
