Nora M. Quade Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2020, at the age of 51, Nora M. Quade of Silver Spring, Maryland, born in Fairfield, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Terence Joseph Meehan and Joan Kohler Meehan. She is survived by: her husband Steven Quade; and her siblings, Stephen, Ken, Barbara and Brendan. She is also survived by extended family, including several nieces and nephews, and close dear friends.

Donations may be made to the Children's Inn at NIH or The Edmond J. Safra Family Lodge at NIH.

“We just returned from our appointment at NIH where we learned of Nora’s passing. We are heartbroken. She was my husband’s nurse from the first time we visited in 2011 and most recently was the research specialist in the program he is apart of. We loved her. She was always so good to us, we looked forward to seeing her and catching up every year. NIH will never be the same. I’m so sorry for your loss, I’m sure she lit up your lives like she did ours.”
