She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanley E. and Viola E. Cudmore; her children, Joel S. Hawthorne (Terri), George M. Hawthorne (Amy) and Peggy H. Kullberg (Chuck); and her grandchildren, Geoffrey, Nathan, Jessica, Emily, Andrew and Abigail. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
