He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Davitt and Peg Davitt (Devine); and his siblings-in-law, Gordon, Helen Aanensen, David Wright and Rob Bloomer.
He is survived by: his extended family Michael Davitt; his wife Ingrid; his daughters, Cara Franke (Adam), Anna Hogan (Tim) and Allison Davitt; his grandchildren, Alessandra and Kellan Franke; and his siblings, Irene Jones (Craig), John Davitt (Deb), Brian Davitt (Patty), Emmet Davitt (Julie), Margaret Leddy (Craig), Kate Bloomer, Chris Davitt (Kate), Casey Bloomer (Jim) and Patty Long (Jay). He is also survived by 45 nieces and nephews; and 49 grandnieces and grandnephews.
