With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Meryl Dean Schindel of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his sons, Gregory (Pamela), Geary (Susan) and Brian Schindel (Lucy); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Graham, Kara, Kyle, Aspen, Brooke, Timothy, Sarah and Rachel; his great grandchild Jackson; and his wife Leta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad, 2400 Arcola Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902.
